Rethink launches new initiative to help start-ups save thousands
09 November 2016
Following new research issued by Lloyds Bank* this month, which found that start up costs had reached £12.000 per annum, global recruiter Rethink Group has announced a new initiative to help emerging tech businesses.
The Group’s Start-Up Zones will give enthusiastic, digital entrepreneurs access to a range of complementary business services including their own desk for three months, access to office space and facilities, as well as mentoring. Rethink’s CEO Andy Lord explained: “At Rethink, we are passionate about business start-ups and giving people the chance to flourish in their endeavours.
“Our leadership team has been working hard to establish something that helps out small businesses, led by passionate, likeminded people. The result is our no-strings attached offering; it will give entrepreneurs an inspiring space in which they can develop their ideas.
“The Lloyds research substantiates our plans; it found that property is the largest outgoing of non-home based start-up businesses and founders don't appear to budget for the £3,000 they’ll spend on their premises, rates and utilities in their first year. We also hope that by offering mentoring we can mitigate their overall risks and costs with some good advice.”
