RTM has an exciting new opportunity for an individual to join our fast-paced and dynamic Sales function as a Customer Development Executive, supporting our team in a variety of ways such as identifying and contacting key new client/customer targets, introducing the RTM service lines, generating market research, market mapping, data creation, compiling MI and researching new topics within the field of Talent and HR.

You could be someone from a recruitment background who fancies a change from the 360 recruiter role, you could come from a research background or you could be supporting a similar function in your current role – we’d be interested in speaking with any enthusiastic individuals who love the sound of this role!


Key Responsibilities

  • Support a business development plan in a specialist market/sector. You’ll be working closely with the sales team to focus of harnessing quality contacts and target stakeholders in the chosen markets/sectors
  • Responsible for identifying key potential buying points, including key contact information, and to arrange appointments for the customer development directors to attend
  • Use pipelining and activity monitoring tools through measurement and appropriate utilisation of MI to deliver a consistent amount of qualified client meetings and stakeholder contact information
  • Gain an understanding of Market/Sector sales growth plan
  • Support the development of innovative methods to attract customers
  • Support the sales team to help drive the events portfolio and contribute to content and insight for distribution to the designate members of our exclusive network within the HR and Talent sector
  • Support the build of marketing plans and execute strategies to stimulate dialogue and discussion with our customers and prospects
  • Support the team by helping ensure RTM has a world class customer development and sales function
  • Help and support the sales team into a dynamic, driven and winning unit with the desire to win in every aspect of work they do

 

Role Requirements & experience

  • Ability to identify and access key stakeholders and customer contacts within target organisations through a variety of media and techniques
  • Ability to engage in initial “cold to warm” conversations and convert to securing qualified Customer Development meetings
  • Market and competitive knowledge
  • Be an ambassador of RTM brand and values
